Wind Turbine Repair

A customer in Union Grove had an existing 120’ single phase wind turbine in his back yard. His old Inverter burnt up 6 months ago. We provided installation of a new Bergey Powersync II inverter to replace his existing inverter. The Powersync Inverter requires the turbine system to be three phase, so the customer received brand new wiring from inverter to turbine generator to accommodate the electrical requirements. After new wires installed in underground raceway, wires terminated on turbine generator and inverter installed, the 120’ wind turbine was raised and the system started to run smoothly.

Now the customer is receiving clean power, tax credits and incentives all thanks to wind power! The ESS team consisted of 2 IBEW electricians led by Wayne Molitor in the field and Sean Meehan in the office. When it comes to clean energy, we are always willing to help out!
