Electrical Project Manager
RJ graduated from the University of Illinois in 2005. He is responsible for client relations with some of our biggest clients. He specialized in Design/Build applications as well as integrated project delivery. When he’s not solving electrical problems, he can be found on the golf course or building pillow forts with his three sons.
Sean Meehan |
Electrical Engineer
Sean is a graduate from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. He helps determines project responsibilities, provides engineering designs/deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Sean’s expertise is using CAD software designing lighting layouts, power requirements and electrical provisions in any type of building. He was a successful collegiate Division 1 Offensive Lineman receiving All-American honors.
John Kapellusch |
Field Project Manager
John started with Electrical Systems & Services in 2019 with years of experience in the Electrical and Mechanical fields. John is a member of IBEW Local 430 and provides our team with leadership that stems from hands-on knowledge.
Jay Datt |
President & CEO
Jay purchased ESS in 1997 with his wife Happie. He began working with existing customers, and soon the business grew beyond the boundaries of the existing facility. ESS Electric grew from a small firm with six electricians to one of Southeast Wisconsin’s pre-eminent firms with more than 20 electricians serving a number of industries including commercial, industrial and renewable energy.
Jay has been involved with the National Electrical Contractor’s Association (NECA), a $130 Billion/year association, since 1998. He received a Masters in Engineering.
